What you'll be doing

Responsible for oversight of the care coordination personnel. Educates and trains staff immediately on any changes. Oversees the analysis of daily management reports and provides staff feedback, recommendations and corrective action as necessary. Works directly with health plan personnel to ensure compliance to mandated regulations and guidelines, facilitates and performs all health plan audits as scheduled, and ensures that all health plan reporting is completed and submitted within the mandated timeline. Develops and implements the annual UM program and description in accordance with state and federal regulations, NCQA, NIPAC, and HEDIS guidelines, within the required time frame. Manages, tracks, and monitors the CPSP, PSS, CCS, and ambulatory programs. Establishes policies for department staff so that decisions on specific daily operational issues can be handled in an effective manner. Attends internal and external meetings as directed and mandatory customer service and ethics training. Recommends future plans, programs, and changes to the chief operating officer. Refers identified quality management issues to compliance department for determination and follow-up.

What your background should be

At least two years of progressively responsible supervisory experience in a healthcare environment. Excellent computer skills such as, EZ-CAP, word processing, and Excel experience. Good written and verbal communication skills.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor Degree.
