What you'll be doing

Confer with management or client group and determine technical requirements of pending or current projects. Assess how development objectives can best be met using current staff and resources. Coordinate and administer assignments to projects, monitor team progress, and maintain schedules. Report to clients as necessary. Meet with various teams concerned with programming, development, testing, and acceptance and provide technical assessment and provision of appropriate resources at different stages of project. Provide technical contributions or project management to current project. Ensure that project(s) are conducted in accord with the organization's structured methodology and standards for application development. Recommend, implement and measure the effectiveness of service models, leveraged as solutions to meeting business needs. Service models include managed services, shared services, COE services, infrastructure services. Report on progress of ongoing activities, use of staff, expenditures, progress on milestones to application owners. Perform resource requirement planning for assigned service lines(s). May support vendor resources and resource planning.

What your background should be

At least 6+ years of related experience is required. Knowledge of data modeling, metadata, data quality, and data architecture concepts. Experience managing data warehousing development projects, including ETL and data quality rules. Able to effectively present technical concepts and recommendations to a wide range of audiences. Experience with informatics development tools preferred.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required.
