What you'll be doing
- Develop, maintain and execute on analytics tools and databases in support of the strategic planning & analysis department. Work with partner department analytics teams, data owners, and internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy of reports being distributed. Analyze raw data and provide insights for the strategy planning & analysis dept. Perform various tasks for the strategic planning & analysis team, including but not limited to revenue generating initiative performance reviews, ROI analysis on marketing/loyalty/ecommerce initiatives, regularly running reports out of the company systems, and running other ad hoc reports as requested. Work with business intelligence group to obtain data necessary to provide analytics support to the team. Provide ad-hoc analytical reports as needed.
What your background should be
- 2-5 years of progressive experience in an analytics role, preferably travel industry related. Must have strong understanding of SQL/SAS RDBMS, MS Access, VBA, and related DB software/tools. Must have understanding and comfort level in using utility programs like Advanced MS Excel, Microsoft Word, MS PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.
