What you'll be doing
- Videotape and edit assorted feature stories for Evening and local programming specials. Capture high quality, dynamic video and crisp sound in real time. Collaborate with producers and reporters as well as the public and guests. Creative video editing to include shot selection, audio mixing, and use of music to tell memorable stories. Post production and multi-layered non-linear editing of stories and the final shows. Perform other duties as assigned.
What your background should be
- Minimum 5 years of shooting and editing experience with extensive knowledge of non-linear editing systems preferred. Writing and producing skills highly desired. Team player with a passion for creative storytelling. Ability to consistently turn out high quality work under daily pressure deadlines.
Required Schooling / Training
- College degree
