What you'll be doing
- Manage simple to moderately complex projects or assist team members with complex projects to develop solutions to business problems, improve department efficiency and/or achieve department strategic objectives. Evaluate and research business needs or problems to identify and recommend the best solution, work with IT and users or upper management to establish user requirements, test solutions and obtain user acceptance to ensure business requirements are met. Use business and technical expertise to develop/maintain databases, applications and/or automate processes using available system software and tools such as Microsoft Office products, SAS Enterprise guide, and report web. Document and present structured walkthroughs of proposed resolutions to end-users and /or IT as necessary. Develop and provide training to end-users as required. Responsible for testing and validation of systems or solutions, identifying potential issues proactively and working with IT/customers to resolve. Coordinate with customers/end-users to define reporting needs and develop any necessary reporting. Responsible for producing various financial reports, including full analysis of commission expense activity for senior management and group leadership. Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting. Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
