What you'll be doing
- Perform maintenance/service at customer locations to commercial plumbing equipment. Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings. Operate service vehicle in a safe manner. Build positive relationships with customers. Exercise initiative or, as directed, perform additional duties to meet the needs of the organization. Maintain accurate records on material and labor used; maintain inventory of district owned tools, equipment, and materials. Determine sources of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs as indicated or according to work orders. Respond to emergency calls as needed. Safety; perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment; operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures. Ensure that equipment is in safe operating condition.
What your background should be
- Experience Six months to two years or more of related work is required. Snaking, jetting, camera and locating small repairs experience required. Boiler and pump experience preferred. The applicant should have the knowledge of plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installation techniques, knowledge of plumbing codes.
Required Schooling / Training
- High school diploma or equivalent.
