What you'll be doing

Leads the design, development and/or implementation of various solutions to support technology and business needs. Under general direction, responsible for the planning, design, enforcement and audit of security policies and procedures which safeguard the integrity of and access to enterprise systems, files and data elements. Recognizes and identifies potential areas where existing data security policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed, especially regarding future business expansion. Provides management with risk assessments and security briefings to advise them of critical issues that may affect customer, or corporate security objectives. Evaluates and recommends security products, services and/or procedures to enhance productivity and effectiveness. Periodically may be required to analyze operational and/or trending data, produce metrics and reports, and communicate and/or present results in an organized, professional manner to various internal audiences. Works with security team members, IT management and IT technical staff to determine where technology failed and assists the architect and other IT members in developing new technical security counter-measures to protect FOTL assets and network environment. Incident response leads incident response efforts and works with IT technical staff and IT management to contain and eradicate the issues. Researches latest security threats, malware, and attacks to determine impact to the FOTL environment.

What your background should be

8+ years IT experience that includes, planning, implementation and/or support of various types of projects, technologies and processes. These should include one or more of the following areas: incident response, forensics and e-discovery, network security, mobility technologies and security, security information and event management (SIEM) technologies, security and/or infrastructure engineering. Experience with reviewing raw log files, data correlation, and analysis (i.e. firewall, network flow, IDS, system logs). Experience identifying, documenting, mitigating, and consulting on enterprise security threats. Preferred security certifications CEH, GCIA, CISSP.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree.
