What you'll be doing

Consult with HR business partner and/or business manager to provide guidance on HR processes related to the HR core (SAP) system. Perform transactional HR core system activities on behalf of managers and HRBPs for the assigned client group. Non-automated transactions via Excel forms for submission to HR service center. Automated transactions via MSS as delegate of manager/HRBP, where applicable. Seek additional input and guidance from sr. hr solutions manager or NAHRS COE leads for answers to more complex actions. Assist HRBPs and managers with issue escalation and resolution. Follow up through resolution on status of submitted transactions. Build personal HR core process expertise through self-directed learning, on the job experience and more formalized training sessions. Assist with change management and training activities for related, additional HR core system implementations or enhancements. Deliver ongoing, ad-hoc trainings to HR community, managers and associates for HR processes. Serve as an advocate of MSS and the HR service delivery model. Support company and NAHRS HR process improvement efforts. Provide continuous feedback to NAHRS in support of improved service delivery. Provide transactional backup to other HR Specialists, as needed, for PTO or other absences. Coordinate data validation with HR team for a specific business function. Extract system reports via first port for client group, as needed. Understand and support local time keeping and payroll policies and practices. Assist local management in troubleshooting, approvals and historical edits. Process and transmit /authorize local payroll files. Run time keeping, master data, and payroll and accrual reports as required by business leadership. Manage company-specific time keeping backend flags and assignments. Develop expertise in time keeping activities via system backend access.
