What you'll be doing

Maintains a hygiene level required by the local health department and ensures that food sanitation, safety and proper food handling functions are practiced on a daily basis. Assists in assuming charge of kitchen on respective shifts. Assists in supervising and maintaining cooking standards and techniques of line level employees. Communicates with chefs, management, employees and guest efficiently with proper reporting, and meetings. Assists in maintaining budgeted labor costs as well as food cost. Assists in expediting all food order and ensure the proper inventory levels. Handles a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment, and works under pressure and meet deadlines with particular attention to detail. Assists in expediting all food orders to set quality standards and presentation. Provides leadership for subordinates. Supervises and assists with food prep & production as need. Ensures to maintain quality and proper presentation of food and drives the customer relation management system by ensuring that all such orders are handled correctly. Develops and completes effective employee training procedures for all food and health department duties. Performs all other related duties as requested.
