Hotel Valet Attendant

What you'll be doing: The valet parking attendant provide exceptional hospitality service to guest in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner. In this key role, valet parking attendant will be responsible for parking and retrieving guest vehicle in a prompt yet safe manner and assist guest with luggage, including delivery and pick up of guest luggage during arrival and departure. Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guest, co worker and client. Acknowledge, greet and welcome guest to the location, using appropriate company protocol. Run at top speed to park and retrieve vehicle and drive slowly and cautiously. Assist guest with bell service, luggage storage, direction, taxi, reservation, information about meeting room or amenity of the facility and other inquiry as needed. Explain parking rate and retrieval procedure to guest upon arrival.

What your background should be: Must be able to read and write standard English language. Must be able to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees. Must be able to perform basic math in relation to American money, understand rates applicable to time passed and understand 24 hour and military time systems.
