What you'll be doing
- Perform quality dimensional and visual inspection and testing of precision machined components by using various measuring devices to ensure compliance with engineering specifications. Work with others in manufacturing and quality to identify root causes. Operate measuring equipment to measure dimensions parts by performing the following duties. Work with team to apply process improvement. Work to identify improvement by building of the team awareness to quality policies and procedures in support with company goals. Help others around them to exceed the expectations of their job.
What your background should be
- Ability to assist with designing/developing quality gauging to improve efficiencies. Understand and adhere to ISO 9001. Read and understand all drawing criteria, GD&T, notes and tolerances. Five years of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Schooling / Training
- High school diploma
