What you'll be doing

The sales operations manager is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of sales department. Responsible for providing leadership, oversight and long range planning to ensure that all areas are operating at the highest standard possible ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of departmental and organizational operations through the provision of effective methods and strategies. Make liaison with top management. Address employee problems and grievances. Assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity. Implement and manage operational plans. Provide functional management to the support team to include hiring decisions, evaluations, coaching, and terminations.

What your background should be

Minimum 5 years of management experience. Preferably in managing sales support teams. Demonstrated leadership, communication and problem solving skills. Demonstrated effectiveness in team development strategies. Demonstrated ability to evaluate and balance team and individual workloads through effective time management, prioritization, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in an office based environment. Ability to travel as required.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor's degree in accounting.
