What you'll be doing
- Design and perform quality assurance (QA) and user acceptance testing (UAT) methodologies and documentation. Develop test plans and test scripts, executing test cases for large and complex business processes. Create and execute formal test plans as well as communicate in writing or in meetings with the development team. Involve in test planning, writing test cases or scripts, creating reusable test data, test case automation and test execution. Review and verify functional and system requirements and ensure project deliverables adhere to QA criteria and comply with the requirements prior to deployment. Write SQL server queries. Conduct status meetings and manage UAT. Manage any change requests related to the project plan to adhere to the prescribed timeline. Perform other duties as assigned.
What your background should be
- Minimum 4 to 7 years of overall IT experience. 2+ years of automated QA or testing experience. SQL server query ability required. Proven experience in writing test plans. Strong understanding of property and casualty business functions highly desired. Basic understanding of html preferred. Experience with cross browser platforms preferred. Experience with selenium or other automated testing.
Required Schooling / Training
- AA degree or equivalent education in IT or closely related field required; BA or BS degree preferred.
