What you'll be doing

Direct and monitor personnel in the performance of responsibilities to ensure quality work. Assist physician services manager with associate 90-day and annual performance appraisals in accordance to hospital policy. Inform and assist physician services managers in employee coaching sessions with associates, and disciplinary action as needed. Monitor policies and procedures and ensure compliance. Maintain infection control and safety policies. Accountable for staff competencies, credentialing and continuing education in accordance with hospital policy, AOA and JCAHO standards. Coordinate staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage to meet the needs of the customers or patients while staying within approved budget. Enforce quality improvement initiatives. Perform tasks as directed by physician services manager.

What your background should be

Supervisory or staff experience in a physician practice required. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third party payers preferred. Previous pediatric management experience.

Required Schooling / Training

High school graduate or equivalent required.
