Sewing Machine Operator

What you'll be doing
- Operate different types of sewing machines in the production line. Inspect completed pieces for cleanliness and completion before passing to next stage. Inspect fabric pieces for possible damage or defective material/seams. Understand basic working mechanisms of sewing machines. Keep sewing/cutting equipment clean. Participate in daily basic maintenance of sewing/cutting equipment. Communicate effectively and handle material safely and efficiently to avoid damage and keep good flow in the production line. Adhere and comply with all company safety requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.
What your background should be
- One to three years of industrial/commercial sewing experience preferred. Able to work as a team member. Anticipate potential problems and work to overcome them. Demonstrate effective verbal skills, listens effectively; clarifies information as needed. This job requires some physical efforts.
Required Schooling / Training
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
