What you'll be doing

Under the direction of the program/sports director, the sports instructor teaches all assigned sports classes within the guidelines of the association to maintain the quality of programs. Responsible for creating learning opportunities for specific sports programs for ages preschool through adult. Prepares teaching area with necessary equipment and the returns equipment to proper storage area when class is complete. Works with individuals and groups within a class structure to enable all to correct faults, improve self-image, and progress abilities. Keeps class attendance records. Follows designated curriculum for classes to ensure basic components met and set standards for progression followed.

What your background should be

Minimum 1 to 3+ years of prior teaching experience required. Must hold current CPR/FA and have basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

Required Schooling / Training

College degree in a related field.
