What you'll be doing

The client company is currently looking for an electronic assembler. This successful applicant will be responsible to contribute to the production efforts of telemetry products and subsystems. The incumbent will perform hand assembly of printed circuit boards using through-hole and surface mount soldering, cable assembly, chassis wiring, light mechanical assembly. Rework of electronic and printed circuit board assemblies. Ensure assembly meets visual, mechanical, electrical criteria of production documentation. The candidate will be responsible for interfacing with co-workers of all levels. Perform other activities as directed.

What your background should be

Minimum 3 to 5 years of applicable experience is required. Ability to read and understand schematics and assembly drawings would be a plus. IPC A610 certification is a plus. Good command of the English language (written and spoken). A high level of experience in manually soldering surface mount components is mandatory. Basic knowledge of electronic components.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or GED.
