What you'll be doing

The client company is currently seeking for a skilled and energetic budget analyst for a growing small business. The senior budget analyst is responsible for providing support to the financial management unit of DoJ client which provides financial oversight, analysis and strategic alignment for internal branch budget programming and execution as well as financial reporting. The incumbent leads several working level groups on budget formulation, execution and financial performance issues. The candidate also performs other duties and tasks assigned by the management.

What your background should be

This position required minimum 8 years of expert experience in analyzing financial data, executing organizational budgets, developing budget justifications and performing oversight for strategic programs that align with organizational goals. Expert experience in the federal government budget execution process and demonstrate application of federal government accounting principles, and fiscal law funds propriety practices. Expertise analyzing financial data, written/verbal information and processes to assess risks, formulate recommendations, and present financial data. Specialized experience with database management techniques and programs; include SharePoint. Specialized experience using MS office programs and creating MS Excel pivot tables and spreadsheets. Relevant certifications PMP or equivalent, CGFM, CDFM-A and acquisition management level II or III is preferred.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
