What you'll be doing

Drive production output, efficiency & cost improvements through bottleneck management. Create, track & use metrics that emphasizes safety, quality, efficiency & cost. Setting up quality gates and quality assurances in line. Maintain and ensure compliance with process documentation for standardized work. Promote cross training, job flexibility and versatility of staff, including development of training schedule. Work with cross functional team to create efficient job station layouts. Understand machine capacity, create machine line loads and implement equipment contingency plans. Complete new job time studies using prototype, conceptual and/or final parts. Utilize systems like MES to ensure accuracy of product builds and consumption. Control to improve logistic methods and control inventory levels. Ensure all safety rules are enforced, including an understanding of OSHA safety requirements.

What your background should be

Experience in new product development and launch activities. Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines. Effectively communicate to all levels in the organization, including large group presentations and translate complex ideas into a simple easy to understand format. Demonstrate problem solving skills (man, method, machine, material, etc.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree.
