What you'll be doing

This position will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting the training manager in the daily operation of a retail store. Under the direction, training and observation of the training manager, the position in training SM maintain inventory, store appearance and complete daily paper work. At the direction of the training manager, the SMIT supervise, train, and develop store team member on the company operating practice and procedure. Greet and assist customer in a positive, approachable manner. Answer question and resolve customer inquiry and concern. Assist the training manager in weekly ordering of merchandise using cycle count to ensure in-stock representation. At the direction of the training manager, the SM assist in unloading all merchandise from delivery truck, organize merchandise, and transfer merchandise from stockroom to store. Assist the training manager in loss prevention effort by maintaining a presence in the store and providing excellent customer service. Acquire knowledge and execute all duty necessary for the effective and profitable operation of the store.

What your background should be

Required store management experience in retail, grocery or drug store environment. Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs from floor level to above shoulder height. Must be able to meet demand of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting. Must have good communication skills. Ability in multitasking.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or equivalent.
