What you'll be doing

The client company is looking for a command center operations security officer. This position is monitoring numerous satellite locations and act as a dispatch for police, fire, EMS and security. The candidate is responsible to ensure protection of clients, visitors, property and equipment. Watch for irregularities such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards and emergency situations. Contact emergency responder such as police, fire, and ambulance personnel as required. Remain alert for the presence of unauthorized persons and/or security code violators. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

What your background should be

Candidate should have experience in related field. Must have a valid state security officer license. Ability to communicate effectively with others both orally and in writing. Ability to effectively monitor satellite sites via CCTV. Ability to effectively dispatch personnel as needed. Ability to retain knowledge, information and direction on an ongoing basis and communicate effectively with others. Must have excellent computer skills.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or equivalent required.
