What you'll be doing

The ultrasound technologist will performs diagnostic sonography and doppler with color flow imaging to visualize anatomy and function. Diagnostic and ultrasound assisted therapeutic procedures will be done according to established policies and procedures. The candidate will work effectively with patients and other imaging personnel. Incumbent will quality control of ultrasound equipment is pertinent prior to performing patient studies. This candidate will also maintain equipment and cleanliness of area. The successful candidate will notify office manager of supplies when needed.

What your background should be

ARRT and RDMS certification or registration is required and at least one year of experience. Knowledge of medical terminology. Knowledge of scanning techniques related to ultrasound needs. Ability to be multifaceted and willingness to learn other if radiology modality. Must hold a current ARRT licensure.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or GED equivalent. Graduation from an accredited ultrasound technology program is preferred.
