What you'll be doing
- Assist primary care physician in diagnostic and therapeutic management of patients by performing variety of medical or surgical tasks. Obtain complete medical history data from patients. Perform physical examinations to obtain physical data. Organize and present historical and physical data, together with evaluation and recommendation, to physician in such way as to permit to visualize medical problem and determine appropriate diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. Execute such diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as physician may assign. Provide follow-up and health maintenance care to patients in accordance with protocols established by physician. Supervise and instruct medical technicians assigned to unit. Perform other duties as assigned.
What your background should be
- Possess the ability to care for critically ill adults and cardiac patients with a broad range of medical problems. Possess the maturity and self confidence to follow complex patient management plans as directed by the attending surgeon. Bilingual skills preferred. Qualified in all basic and advanced cardiac life support standards as set by the American heart association. Ability to work comfortably is an outpatient clinic area. Physicians assistant must obtain license as a physician assistant prior to commencing work.
