What you'll be doing
- Assist in defining statewide water problems, describing the scope and objectives of intermediate and long-range programs, and developing proposals for such programs. Plan, develop, and maintain a program of water-resources investigations for the WSC to provide a continuing interpretation of this varying natural resource in cooperation with state, local, and other federal agencies. Ensure the technical acceptability of the projects of all research, systems analyses, and data investigations including the adequacy of project scope and accuracy of results; direct the preparation and writing of technical reports describing projects results, setting standards for technical excellence and quality. Promote and maintain close liaison with state, local, and other federal agencies that are responsible for the development, utilization, and control of water resources. Conduct negotiations with these agencies regarding cooperative water-resources investigations and research activities.

Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree.
