Principle Engineer

What you'll be doing: Communicate with development testing, QA, and operations areas on a regular basis to ensure accurate understanding of functional requirements, impact analyses, and release schedules and to help coordinate work estimates. Support program management, software engineers, and SQA to facilitate understanding of user requirements. Validate that the software is implemented to match the functional specifications. Ensure that established internal standards and requirements are used in the maintenance and development of design control documentation. Develop enough familiarity with the capabilities of all the products within the team domain to be able to take on any assigned project. Assist in the validation and confirmation of product and/or system requirements. Validation could occur through organization of user groups, surveys or 1-on-1 customer meetings as examples. Comprehend how various technologies interact and impact each other, and identify how system-level synergies can drive greater customer value.

What your background should be: A minimum 2 years of related work experience is required. Experience with healthcare information technology systems. Ability to participate in meetings with customers on a regular basis to establish strong working relationships and facilitate information sharing about business and systems requirements. Must have good communication skills; interpersonal skills. Ability to verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking ability.
