What you'll be doing

Assists with quality assurance reviews of clinical records according to established criteria. Provides appropriate medical information to third party payers. Identifies opportunities to improve patient care delivery & documentation and assists staff to develop plans of correction to resolve identified needs. Supervises multi-disciplinary personnel. Performs assessment of staff performance through on-site evaluations & implements counseling for improved performance. Assists with fiscal reviews and oversight for compliance. Manages specific disease states for assigned patient. Assists with orientation of new staff and agency in-services. Assists in administrative on-call rotation. Develops financial projection for reimbursement.

What your background should be

Minimum 1 to 3 years of home health nursing experience is required. Prefer quality assurance or utilization review experience. Current NC RN licensure required. Must have good communication skills; interpersonal skills. Ability to verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking ability.

Required Schooling / Training

Associate or bachelor degree in nursing.
