What you'll be doing

Responsible for pharmacy compliance and audit programs focusing on medicaid and exchange compliance for pharmacy. Ensures the company advocacy, representation, and support for compliance oversight of PBM and contract compliance. Serves as a subject matter expert for all compliance and audit policies. Negotiates audit requirements with internal resources and external entities. Manages reporting, tracking, and responses for internal and external audits. Evaluates policies and procedures to ensure compliance. Partners with internal business and functional leaders to identify and work through known compliance issues, worry items, audit findings/gaps, and provides risk management oversight working through the development and implementation of remediation plans. Monitors PBM business partner to ensure abidance with state and federal regulations. Assists in coordination of contractually mandated bi-annual audits of PBM with internal staff and third party vendor. Manages policy and procedure development, revision and storage. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

What your background should be

10+ years of compliance experience with knowledge of the pharmacy benefit management industry; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. 2 years of leadership experience.

BA/BS degree
