VP of Application Development

What you'll be doing: Represent the DDO interests into the larger GTO organization including strategy and planning. Build a software development delivery strategy and adoption across technology supply. Analyze, identify, and appraise risks and issues that affect the building and adoption of an enterprise software delivery model and associated adoption. Build a framework for ensuring timely delivery and highest attainable quality standards on all software projects. Ensure that all developers conform to basic development procedures. Conduct or lead research into relevant new technologies and approaches. Liaise with clients and development teams to understand software development requirements. Engage on a regular basis with GTO technology supply stakeholders and ensure broad awareness, engagement, and communication. Perform other duties as assigned.

What your background should be: Minimum 5+ years of experience in software development program management and a deep understanding of SDLC and ALM. Five years of management/leadership experience in a software development organization required. Seven years of experience working through the design, development, release cycle, and delivering software products to market in an enterprise development environment SDLC. Seven years of experience in leading a team of developers. Five years of advanced level (knowledge and experience) of programming languages and methodologies.
