What you'll be doing
- Support the planning, developing, and implementation of targeted sales and marketing strategies for product sales. Build and sustain productive long-term relationships with key centers of influence through intelligence in retiree benefits, diverse human relationship skills and adaptive problem solving. Coordinate account activity with appropriate local market offices and manage the activities of the company associates assigned to support enrollment/sales process. Facilitate cross-selling activities, when appropriate, with other company market segment sales representatives. Identify customer needs, develop strategies and present solutions to solve customer/prospect issues, prepare customer & market intelligence on each group. Develop business relationships with commercial sales associates.
What your background should be
- Intermediate experience in the group health solutions industry. Demonstrated prior success in selling Medicare and choice plans to employer-sponsored groups. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Resident life/health license in state of residence, non-resident license in non-resident territories as required. Ability to travel on a regular basis.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree is required.
