What you'll be doing
- Responsible for providing quality, comprehensive nursing care in the home under the direction of a registered nurse. Participate in the development of the plan of care along with other discipline on the team. Conduct skilled nursing visit and provide direct patient care as prescribed by the patient physician, plan of care, or as directed by the RN and within the Texas scope of practice for licensed vocational nursing. Regularly travels to patient homes and outreach locations to provide care under the direction of the registered murse. Perform PRN visits and work rotating weekends with other team members. Perform other duties as assigned.
What your background should be
- Requires in-depth understanding of a comprehensive field of knowledge normally attained through a high school education and graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Must have and maintain current license as a licensed vocational nurse in the state of Texas. Work one weekend per month. Work 2 days per month during the week. Must have productivity of 7 patients per day worked.
