What you'll be doing

Manage 3rd shift staff including hiring, performance management, goal setting, motivating and coaching. Delegate work priorities to shift team members. Communicate any facility and equipment concerns, production delays or schedule changes to manufacturing management in real time. Troubleshoot the manufacturing process, as appropriate, including contacting and communicating any production issues to manufacturing management immediately. Respond to equipment or emergency alarms immediately; request assistance if needed or communicate alarm resolution immediately to manufacturing management. As part of 3rd shift team, on an as needed basis perform: assembly, autoclaving, glass washing; column clean in place (CIP); suite cleaning and sanitization; chromatography column packing and lead chromatography operations as part of the product purification process. Perform final manufacturing review all GDP documents. Manage training for all new employees. Participate in quality working teams and continuous improvement teams. Ensure manufacturing suite is stocked and audit ready. Verify receipt of all supplies. Oversee removal and disposal of hazardous waste. Perform safety and CGMP inspections or observations.

What your background should be

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree in a scientific or related discipline.
