What you'll be doing

Dispatch accurate and appropriate information to service technicians using a computer based dispatch system or via phone. Determine priority and location of all activities; assign respective service technicians to achieve maximum productivity. Knowledge of geographical challenges in each territory and calculating driving distance vs. calculating drive time. Confirm, update and maintain accurate records in database. Communicate any customer issues with the respective customer service representative. Report unusual occurrences regarding patients, property or service to customer service manager. Communicate inventory issues with inventory department. Answer dispatch phones according to service level and incoming call volume. Report inventory shortages from drivers to inventory department via Google docs.

What your background should be

Dispatch experience preferred. Ability to react calmly and effectively while under pressure. Knowledge of pager or telephone communication equipment. Knowledge and understanding of specialty support surfaces (DME). Ability to assess potential problems and have excellent problem solving skills. Speak clearly, distinctly and concisely in a professional manner. Communicate with people of diverse social and cultural backgrounds. Follow written and oral instructions. Ability to multi task and enjoy fast paced environment.
