What you'll be doing

Provides leadership and expert consultation on the design, development, and implementation of programs related to the expertise area. Leads a group of consultants, analysts and/or staff focused on the delivery of service/products within the responsible technical areas. Provides leadership and direction for the technical areas in accordance with the overall strategic direction of the group. Serves as the content expert of the responsible technical areas and provides technical assistance and advice. Develops standards, procedures, and policies to ensure that the responsible unit is maintained according to the acceptable level of quality from clients. Ensures that reports and information disseminated from the areas are accurate, timely and consistent, and that satisfy the clients' needs.

What your background should be

Minimum six years of experience in a management or clinical leadership role required. Current California nursing license required. Demonstrated ability to determine the key business issues and develop appropriate action plans from multidisciplinary perspectives. Experience in conducting adverse event investigations, including root cause analysis, cause and process mapping, and facilitative leadership. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking skills in order to fully understand and accurately describe causal factors leading to events. Experience in preparing and presenting reports and knowledgeable in conducting analytics. Completion of IA training and has experience leading pi projects. Expected to interact with a wide range of individuals, committees, and groups, for example, executive leadership. Ability to adapt to constantly changing priorities and managing a wide range of projects. Must exhibit efficiency, collaboration, and candor, openness, and results orientation.

Required Schooling / Training

BSN or bachelor's degree in health related field required. Master's degree preferred.
