What you'll be doing
- Provide expertise to air force wholesale, retail, and MAJCOM level supply chain management. Maintain responsibility for moving the business in a specifically defined direction, remain aware of external development in areas of expertise. Manage complex support issues through strategic thinking, action research and problem solving to develop recommendations and solutions. Provide advocate solutions to solve logistics issues and apply SCOR, DoD and organization specific end-to-end supply chain processes. Provide quality documentation and coordination of nuclear weapons related materiel activities.
What your background should be
- Must have 8 years of experience with air fore wholesale or retail supply chain management (SCM) activities. Ability to work with various teams at all project phases. Should have active Secret clearance. 2+ years of experience with developing policy documents at the MAJCOM or retail level. Experience with using Microsoft Office and managing information technology capabilities. Also should have experience with serving on staff at HQ AFMC/A4.
Required Schooling / Training
- BA or BS degree in logistics.
