Pricing Analyst

What you'll be doing: Acts as cost volume lead and provides pricing support on cost proposals which often include larger, more complex efforts. Develops, analyzes, evaluates, coordinates, prepares, supports and oversees cost proposals to government customers and other contractors. Supports audit requests, fact-finding, and negotiation discussions and the program budget baseline process. Prepares and presents costs estimates to management, customer representatives and government audit agencies. Ensures adherence to federal acquisition regulations, public law 87-653, truth in negotiations act and company policies and procedures with regard to cost proposal preparation, reviews, submission and negotiations. Provides in-depth knowledge of FAR or DFARS and other applicable government regulations reviews and approves requests for proposals (DFARS) and proposal documents for protection of the company pricing approach, satisfaction of customer specifications or requirements and adherence to company policy. Ensures estimating system compliance and provides interpretation of DFARS requirements. Interacts with personnel and management at all levels; will interface and coordinate with other business management leaders and staff on a daily basis. Provides reviews of all estimates prior to delivery and review by senior management.

What your background should be: Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in the federal contracting arena with a comprehensive knowledge of pricing, contracts and business management. Experience at leading cost volume teams ensuring RFP compliance. Experience in regard to validation of estimates and estimating approaches to include ability to provide detailed review of, and provide value added input to BOES. Knowledge of FAR or DFARS and other government regulations required. Must be able to obtain a government security clearance potential travel of 25% or greater to meet proposal requirements. Proficient in use of pro pricier knowledge or experience with the service contract act and international pricing.
