What you'll be doing

Partners with commercial ops, channel and franchise leadership to develop and quantify companies annual commercial plan for the category. Responsible for the development of a consumer driven retail price strategy for the category and resulting trade spend management. Supports the development of a multi year brand OBPPC by providing expertise on the price and packaging elements. Partners with pricing & planning COE to ensure that customer teams implement commercial planning & pricing assumptions. Responsible for business case evaluation of all category specific business initiatives. Interprets top customer and bottler performance to identify gaps and opportunities against category plan. Partners with channel leads on metrics & goals against category AMPS; ensures inclusion into franchise scorecards. Partners with category commercial ops and channel leadership to lead the development of commercial plans across all package formats (postmix and bottle can) for the category. Responsible for leading a cross-functional team in identifying and sizing all sources of growth for annual business planning. Supports category finance and brand teams with RGM support through the annual business planning process & acts as a liaison to customers team plans as they are being developed. Supports the development of a consumer driven retail price strategy inclusive of brand driven commercial principles for the category. Responsible for the effective management of all company trade dollars and the identification of the most effective promotional strategies to maximize return on trade dollars. Supports RGM director in the development of multi year OBPPC with category specific expertise.

What your background should be

5 years experience, preferably in the consumer goods or beverages industry. Experience in developing business plans or business cases; strategic thinking (forward-looking vision and anticipating of future needs). Working understand of P&L levers & value chain modeling. Business experience across multiple product lines (bottle can or postmix) or channels e.g., large store, small store. Experienced in developing pricing & promotion structures. Experience and comfort working directly with senior leaders; aligning senior execs or differing perspectives.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree.
