What you'll be doing
- Leads the clinical applications component of all hospital-defined initiatives related to industry and regulatory requirements. Examples are: meaningful use, readmissions, concurrent coding, CDI, ICD-10, quality/core measure reporting, JCAHO, etc. Works directly with department directors, managers and hospital staff to understand hospital goals, collect requirements, provide potential solutions and execute identified strategies. Participates and helps direct applicable coordination of application activity related to systems design, build, implementation, testing, training and ongoing support. Maintains fluency in all aspects of healthcare regulatory, quality and compliance standards and best practices. Advises the organization with current information about clinical quality, regulatory standards and compliance issues/trends. Maintain a thorough working knowledge of necessary clinical system applications and functions.
What your background should be
- Minimum five years of healthcare experience is required. Excellent analytical and communication skills and outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills are also desired. Proficiency in computer skills. Advance in Microsoft suits (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Required Schooling / Training
- B.S degree in business.
