What you'll be doing

Register new physicians and mid-level providers in stars database. Add term dates if necessary. Enter all contracts and leases into the meditract database track and notify appropriate departments for termination and renewal needs of physician contracts and leases. Track and request security deposits for all leases. Creation and maintenance of contact abstracts. Summarize requests for contracts and amendments processed on a monthly basis. Maintenance and coordination of LMA conference room schedule. Maintain physician salary summary for contract renewals and new providers. Maintain internal and external practice and physician directories including posting on the websites and alerting hospital departments of changes. Monitor the medical record suspension list for LMCBC and OLLMC. Coordinate with physicians on submission of the time records for each directorship. Handle all the scheduling of meetings and conference calls for any physician associated with LMA as directed by the VP of practice development. Send quarterly PPL and CME reports to all physicians. Monitor and upkeep holiday time for physicians, including contacting offices to determine which doctor will work the holiday, as well as keeping the spreadsheet for all physician holidays. Enter on call schedules into the Telemed data base for the answering service. Send on call reminders to physicians in OLLMC, LMCBC and family practice. Front desk coverage and continuation of most administrative assistant duties.

What your background should be

Experience with scheduling proficiency using Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Office. Strong customer service skills. Detail-orientated. Strong organization skills. Ability to provide rapid, accurate responses to telephone and written requests. Ability to prioritize and work in a demanding, fast paced environment. Demonstrated interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Experience in a healthcare environment. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to support and provide dedication to work in an environment that values patient care and customer service. Familiarity with HIPAA and patient confidentiality regulations.

Required Schooling / Training

Associate degree required. Bachelor degree preferred.
