What you'll be doing
- The clint company is looking for a full time medical coder / abstractor medical coding for medical coding department. Candidate need to work in day shift (full time). medical coder / abstractor will be responsible for using ICD9CM and CPT4 codes to describe diagnosis and procedures. This position is based on data entry adn coding so candidate must show proficient in data entry. Courses in anatomy, physiology, pathology, and coding required. Duties and responsibilities are listed but not limited to.
What your background should be
- 3-5 years experience is required. Requires a license from RHIT, RHIA, CCS or certificate from an AHIMA accreditation program. certification preferred. licensure preferred
Required Schooling / Training
- High school diploma or equivalent is required

- The company is a nonprofit, faith based, teaching hospital, which provides a full range of inpatient, outpatient, emergency and diagnostic services
