RN Case Manager (ED/ER)

What you'll be doing
- The client company is currently looking for a RN case manager (ED/ER). This successful position will be responsible to facilitate the entry of the patients into the appropriate level of care by utilizing InterQual criteria. The candidate will identify community and other resources that are necessary for each patient and identify services that require authorizations for services. The applicant will help to develop a treatment plan and insure that the patient has a primary care physician follow-up. The incumbent will collaborate with the emergency department to observe quality and patient safety parameters, los, readmissions, denials and appeals.
What your background should be
- The candidate with at least 3 years of case management experience (in a critical care setting) required. S/he should have PA registered nurse (RN) license and BSN license is required (currently enrolled will be considered). The incumbent should have at least 3 years of acute care/ED clinical experience. InterQual and Midas experience required.
