What you'll be doing

What your background should be

Minimum 7-10 years in international purchasing with a full understanding of trade terms, payment terms, various manufacturing aspects, output capacity and costing. Must be self-starter, highly disciplined in directing suppliers, outlining critical needs and extremely savvy in procurement with exceptional time-management and follow-up skills. Expertise in Microsoft Office, forecasting systems and enterprise resource program systems (Syspro, Mrp, Oracle or Jde) and profit/loss analysis. Must have understanding of costing, landed cost factors, and profit margin. Must have exceptional negotiating ability regarding supplier qualification, cost, quantity, delivery and terms of service/sale. Effective and tactful in working with diverse personalities, in fast paced environment.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma required and college graduate preferred.
