Registered Nurse

What you'll be doing: Provide programmatic leadership of the clinical component in the assigned areas to ensure quality patient care outcomes. Develop and implement goals, standards, policies, educational programs, procedures and practices in alignment with the strategic plan. Assist in preparation, management, and evaluation of annual fiscal operating and capital equipment budgets for assigned areas. This will include assisting in management and evaluation of variance reports, identifying areas for cost containment, developing, monitoring and managing productivity measures. Maintain accuracy of time reporting, payroll, and department position control. Foster an environment that promotes a spirit of inquiry and continuous quality improvement. Assigned service areas will be monitored to determine approaches for improvement activities. Monitor unit compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies. Design, implement and monitor corrective actions as identified by unit tracking. Provide charge/shift leadership duties as appropriate for their work area.

What your background should be: Nursing experience required. Excellent verbal, written and/or interpersonal communication skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to make judgments and recommendations based on statistical analysis.
