What you'll be doing

Directs, supervises and monitors soccer for success operations and summer program activities to meet company objectives and adhere to state, local and company health and safety regulations. Develops, monitors and effectively forecasts program budget to meet fiscal objectives. Establishes new program activities, increases participation, and expands programming within the community in accordance with association/branch strategic and operating plans. Compiles program statistics. Monitors and evaluates effectiveness of and participation in the program. Develops and implements family engagement activities for all locations. Recruits, hires, trains, develops, schedules, directs and motivates personnel and volunteers. Develops strategies to motivate staff and volunteers to achieve goals. Reviews and evaluates staff and volunteer performance. Ensures records of staff certifications are current and complete. Develops and nurtures collaborative relationships with community organizations including colleges, schools, soccer organizations and parks. Develops summer fitness program activities and oversees the implementation of program activities. Ensures safety by communicating and enforcing rules, policies, guidelines at participants comprehension level. Collaborates with trainers, coaches, other directors and day camp staff in order to maintain a positive and encouraging environment that accommodates the needs of all participants. Engages volunteers and assists with volunteer committee meetings. Actively participates in and supports the goals of the company annual campaign through building relationships, engaging volunteers and carrying out other assigned fund raising duties. Conducts and maintains accurate soccer for success and summer training program records including but not limited to program registration forms, fitness data pre and post, financial expenditures, CACFP meals served and attendance rosters, and equipment. Creates and schedules training, site schedules, program dates including testing and family engagement activities.

What your background should be

Minimum one year of supervisory experience is strongly preferred. Must hold a valid driving license, insurable driving record according to the company insurance carriers, and have reliable transportation to travel for business meetings, training events, vendors and suppliers, etc. Computer skills needed, particularly with Microsoft Office and email applications, along with ability to learn the internal software.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree.
