What you'll be doing

Directs and supervises an active research group and participates fully in the educational and research activities of the department. Supports and collaborates with, clinical and translational researchers and participates in multidisciplinary intra- and extramural research efforts. Provides support for study design and methodology. Oversees data management and interpretation, including statistical analyses. Directs clinical research activities and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements. Actively participates in medical writing and editing for peer-reviewed publication. Seeks and applies for external funding to support ongoing research efforts. Supervises research coordinators and staff. Directs and conducts independent studies.

What your background should be

The successful candidate should have formal training in clinical trial methodology and data interpretation, including statistical analyses. Experience with large data sets and comparative effectiveness research preferred. A distinguished record of publications required.

Required Schooling / Training

PhD, or MD or both from an accredited institution required.
