What you'll be doing
- The maintenance technician will take ownership of manufacturing equipment performance. The candidate will work with reliability and maintenance engineers to learn and implement techniques to improve continuously equipment reliability and efficiency. S/he will review OEE data, participate in investigations, and interact daily with operators and mechanic-operators to expose and resolve equipment related reliability and efficiency issues. Applicant shall be a SME subject matter expert on one or more technologies and shall provide in house training on proper equipment operation, set up and maintenance. Provide overall daily production support including corrective and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment installations, modifications and qualifications.
What your background should be
- A qualified candidate should have minimum 5 to 10 years of experience working with manufacturing equipment. S/he should have experience with granulation, coating, tablet press, and encapsulation technologies. Experience troubleshooting automated systems, experience troubleshooting at least two of the following five areas: automation based systems PLCs, HMIs, etc., electronics, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic.
