What you'll be doing

The field engagement specialist (FES) will leverage direct door-to-door marketing techniques, as well as event activations to excite potential customers about the idea of going solar. The FES will also partner with new customers that made the switch to company in order to help them spread the word and generate referrals. Ongoing 1:1 outreach to customers to inspire and drive referral behavior, including phone calls, email and in person communications. Customer visit and neighborhood activation. Plan and execute customer appreciation events. Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure campaigns integrate brand and tactical goals and are executed in a timely manner. Capture best practices for future expansion of the direct 1:1 engagement program. Create and test creative and differentiated high touch strategies, which lead to higher customer engagement and increased referral activity. Event plan and attendance to generate leads.

What your background should be

Minimum 1 year in sales, campaigning, canvasing, direct marketing or fund raising experience. Grassroots community activation experiences a plus. Self-starter, autonomous, a drive to succeed with a positive attitude and high energy. Results and action-oriented. Ability to initiate conversation with individuals and groups. Must be able to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities. Creative problem-solver who works well independently as well as part of a team.

Required Schooling / Training

BA/BS degree required, preferably in marketing/communications or other related discipline.
