What you'll be doing

The business change director is responsible for working with management to identify and implement varied projects, programs and plans that support achievement of business unit and enterprise goals. The candidate may specialize in one area of organization effectiveness (planning, project portfolio, or culture/change) or be assigned to directly support a business unit and ensure activities are aligned with corporate strategy. S/he will identify potential issues, project change, and scope data. Lead efforts to identify best practices, impacted parties, business partners, and resources required. Develop and design process and systems that support business needs. The incumbent will design methods for integrating functions and processes. Conduct cost/benefit analyses. Build support for business change throughout the business unit. Provide process, project, and change management methodology coaching/consulting support to both local and enterprise wide initiatives. Lead the project prioritization and scheduling activities for the business unit. Provide expertise to the business areas in culture/change management activities. Provide expertise in process planning and portfolio management activities. The applicant will support the execution of the operating plan.

What your background should be

The candidate should have 10 years of managing mid to large-scale change/project initiatives including knowledge of planning models and methodology, project management and change management experience. The incumbent with six-sigma black belt preferred.

Required Schooling / Training

BA/BS degree in a related field or equivalent required. Master degree preferred.
