What you'll be doing

The position will be responsible for responding to customer service problems or requests for information regarding technology. This will include answering the help desk support line and performing first level problem determination relating to the operation marketing and sales supported applications, personal computers, and mobile phones. Interface with internal business clients and company information technology to deliver system capabilities that meet business objectives. Analyze and resolve moderately complex information system issues for users. Issue will be related to the desktop computing environment, network applications, production applications, and hardware. Support a robust Microsoft based network running XP and windows 7; support lotus notes and mobile devices such as the iPhone, iPad, and blackberry devices. Log all calls & emails into track-IT system. Perform routine network and pc installation, troubleshoot, maintain, and resolve any related problems. Responsible for accurate tracking of all assets supported by team. Interact with vendors to facilitate repairs of hardware, i.e. printers, laptops and desktops.

What your background should be

The candidate should have 2 to 3 years of IT related experience, or 5 years of directly related progressive work experience. Minimum of 2 to 3 years of desktop support experience is preferred. Excellent communication skills.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree in computer science or related discipline.
