What you'll be doing
- The manager is responsible for oversee internal and external trafficking, confirm approvals and final releases. This includes develop timelines, studio management and oversight of the execution and production of all copy, photography, graphic design, visual merchandising, on-line and PR assets requested by NA market. In addition to interface effectively with all department heads and the creative team members, be comfortable working in a deadline driven time sensitive work environment and capable of managing multiple projects with overlapping and/or conflicting deadlines. Develop creative timelines as determined by team timetable and track development of all creative asset; photography, video, copy, digital, visual merchandising, store design opening and manage usage guidelines. Inform respective functional groups of any revisions to project timelines if dates are in jeopardy. Oversee each phase of the internal and external approval process; including the approval of copy, layouts, final artwork, retouching, proofs and printed samples. Manage production schedules and creative output to support launch dates. Continue to improve processes. Oversee production staff in regards to retouching trafficking and deliverables. Liaise and develop creative operations support staff. Provide clear direction and deadlines for all tasks.
What your background should be
- 5+ years of relevant experience in project management and merchandising. Excellent organizational, interpersonal and self-management skills. Strong experience in operations/traffic and project management. Flexible and multi-functional to handle ever-changing priorities. Able to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects/brands. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal skills. Mac & PC based skills. Electronic pre-press/press knowledge.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor's degree.
