What you'll be doing
- Under general supervision established policy and procedure, operates nuclear medicine or pet cameras and equipment to produce diagnostic studies of appropriate anatomical region in order to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patient illness. Maintain excellent customer service skill to enhance the patient experience and increase patient satisfaction. Assist physician or radiologist in procedural studies. Additionally, this position requires the nuclear medicine or pet technologist to support and facilitate departmental initiative and ready to perform other duties assigned by the authority.
What your background should be
- Must be registered in modality within 1 year of hire date. BLS certification required.
Required Schooling / Training
- 24 month program in AMA approved school certification, licensure, bonding.
